My Story - why we need the LifeLight911

I was in bed for eight years after being disabled in a terrible car accident.
With a van full of frightened 8th grade girls, we waited on a busy freeway for 35 long minutes before anyone stopped. During those eight years in bed, I realized that my blinking hazard lights just weren’t enough - that if cars had actual emergency signals, maybe people could avoid long term injury and death.
God gave me this time in bed to use my expertise as a custom car designer/builder and teacher of Drivers Education, STEM science, and Engine rebuilding to solve two huge problems:
- How to keep
victims of car emergencies alive while they are waiting the average 15 minutes for OnStar and 911 to arrive
- How to promote good Samaritan values into a nation-wide “mobile neighborhood watch” so that we become a visible, driving force in our society.
The simplest of solutions:
- A license plate frame that turns into an
emergency signal
will attract “right now” good Samaritan help at the push of a button.
- An emergency signal on a car’s bumper clearly shows a belief in people-helping-people, and a willingness to be a part of the mobile neighborhood watch.
